THE 2008 CLUB SEASON WILL START FEBRUARY 12th.
Organizational meeting will be held on January
29 at 6:30 in the high school student center.
Club
Falcons Volleyball was started in 2003. It is a Junior Olympic volleyball
program sponsored by the
United States
Volleyball Association (USVBA). It is was formed to provide an
environment where, highly motivated and athletically talented, young female
athletes could get the training and competition needed to help them excel at the
high school level. Volleyball in
Minnesota
has risen substantially in the past few years. More
Minnesota
players are going on to play collegiate volleyball than ever before.
Faribault
Volleyball is excited about the new opportunities for young women.
Objectives
- The
goal of Club Falcons is to train and educate young female athletes in the
sport of volleyball.
- We
are dedicated to the development of teamwork, communication, sportsmanship
and work ethic.
- Club
Falcons believe that all participants WILL play. In the younger
divisions, amount of play will be as equal as possible. The older
divisions will play to win. Everyone will play but playing time may
not be equal.
- For
players at the high school level, our goal is to provide top level training
which will allow each player to participate successfully on their varsity
high school team.
- Our
desire is to teach every athlete to be the best volleyball player they can
be, in a positive atmosphere.
